Coleg Gwent Cuts: 'A' levels to go

A swathe of cuts in further education in Gwent has been described as a "disaster" with a large cut in courses available and A Level courses being withdrawn from Pontypool to Cross Keys, abandoning students in North Torfaen with no local 16-18 provision.

Local School Students Learn All About the World of Water

Durand Primary School in Caldicot held special events during World Water Week, with special visitors from Dwr Cymru-Welsh Water and a visit by a local Assembly Member, who joined children to learn about why water is a precious resource.

Severn Bridge Tolls | Card Payments delayed over "irrelevant row"

A leading member of the National Assembly for Wales has welcomed the comments by the First Minister, Rhodri Morgan, that it was "plainly absurd" that bridge user across the Severn could not use debit and credit cards to pay Severn bridges tolls.

School Celebrates World Book Day in Style

A local infants school in Caldicot Monmouthshire, celebrated World Book Day in style last week, with a multitude of activities for the young pupils, staff and visitors coming into the school to read with excited youngsters.
